It consists of a threshing cylinder, concave, cylinder casing, cleaning system and feeding chute. In axial flow concept, the crop is fed from one end, it moves axially and the straw is thrown out from the other end after complete threshing of the crop. During threshing, the crop rotates three and half times around the cylinder and all the grains get detached. The threshing cylinder is of adjustable peg type. The casing of the thresher has louvers for moving the crop axially. Two or four aspirator blowers and two sieves are provided for cleaning the grain. These threshers are powered with tractors or other separate engines. To prevent grain loss and breakage, adjustable cutters are provided. For smooth threshing, special forged steel and adjustable beaters are fitted in the rotor.

Use : It is used for threshing of Paddy (wet, green & immediate cut) crop. The final produce is the Paddy grain.

Since wheat is the staple food in the northern and north-western parts of India, Wheat threshers are usually in high demand in these regions. The straw obtained as a side-produce is very fine and can be used to feed the cattle which is mainly required by the farmers in the northern region of India such as Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Bihar. Different size machines have different features. We manufacture Engine operated, Motor operated and tractor operated Wheat threshers. Wheat Thresher is used for threshing wheat.
It consists of spike tooth cylinder, aspirator type blower and sieve shaker. Two top covers, three concaves and three sieves. The upper sieve separates chaff bigger than grain while lower sieve lets the dust and smaller particles than grain pass through thus delivering clean grain at main outlet. It has provision for attaching universal shaft for operating the thresher by tractor PTO.

Use : It is used for threshing of wheat crop.

Maize can be used as food and fodder as well. It is mainly cultivated in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan Uttarakhand & Uttar Pradesh. It is a simple machine which is used to separate the kernels from the cobs. They are also known as Corn Shellers. The Cylinder Type Corn Sheller are tractor driven implements available in different capacities which operate at 10HP-35HP at 600-1000 rpm and also 3HP-5HP motors and engines.

Use : It is used for threshing of maize cobs.

Maize De-husker cum Sheller are of two types namely, spike tooth type and axial flow type. In the spike tooth type Sheller, pegs are staggered at varying heights for better shelling efficiency. The spikes are placed in 6 rows. The sieves have an opening to separate the shelled maize from husk. In axial flow type threshers, pegs are provided on the cylinder and louvers are provided on the upper periphery of the drum to convey the crop to the outlet.

Use : It is used for threshing of maize cobs with cover & husk.

Since Millets can thrive in high temperature regions and drought prone areas, they are cultivated in Almora Region of Kumaon District in Uttarakhand. VPKAS, Almora, Uttarakhand, India is a premier institute of Indian Council of Agriculture Research engaged in hill agricultural research for North-Western Himalayan region of India. It is a multi-crop and multi-disciplinary institute.

Use : It is used for threshing of Millets & has been tested on threshing wheat as well.
